Optimist Vs Pessimist

Here at Cagecity we love our positive sayings and motivational wise words. We're pretty chilled out free spirits... so to us its all about positivity. 

Recently we came across this blog "Hard truths from softs cats"...and its pretty funny, so thought we'd share (see link).

Its basically taking the piss out of us optimists and hitting us with a dose of...i suppose.... reality. 

Funny, but this shit doesn't faze us....optimists forever :)

Throwbacks from the attic..

So...back in '99 I moved house. Things were organised into used & not used! All the stuff we didn't use, but could not bring ourselves to chuck we stored in the loft of our new crib. And thank Gawdd we did!! 13 years on I decided to go on a lil treasure hunt in the loft :) 

And boyy did I have fun rummaging... 

I found all the toys from my childhood..including my Spice Girls ERRMM Everything!! Yes i had it all... I was obsessed, like every other girl who grew up in the 90's! 

I nearly wet myself when I found a big suitcase full of Mums 80's & 90's attire...I've now got a load of new vintage additions to my wardrobe including the cutest crochet crop, a leather rucksack and a black skin tight all in one...Yes Yes Mum :) 

Although the coolest thing I found has to be 'The Beatles' illustrative Lyrics Book. We all had a sing song! Looking through and seeing quotes from each of them, gave me (someone of the younger generation) an insight into the individuals that made up what is now The legendary Beatles! Above all though the pictures were amazing! I've merged a few of them above!
