Meet Emma...

So if you haven't seen already a whole load of newness has hit the site along with a fresh new face and doesn't she look hot!! 

Working with Emma was great, she rocked every single outfit and her fun personality brought out a great vibe on the shoot. 

We caught up with our latest muse to get to know a bit more... 

How did you get into modeling? 

I was scouted when I was 15 to participate in the Miss Teen Queen UK pageant, they aren't really my thing, but from there I was offered modelling work for local magazines and continued with it. 

How long have you been modeling for? 

I've been modelling since I was about 16. 

What has been your best job? 

Am I allowed to say Cage City? haha, well excluding Cage City it would be modelling makeup for E.L.F cosmetics. 

What did you think of modeling for cagecity? 

I loved it, the clothes are amazing and it was fun bringing my personality into the shoot. But it did just make me want ALL of the clothes I tried on. 

How would you describe your style? 

Simple, sexy with an edgy twist. 

Who is/are your style icon/s? 

I think Rihanna has it pretty bang on right now, so cool. 

What are your fashion essentials? 

Every girl needs her own twist on the classic little black dress, a hot pair of heels, and at least one leather jacket. It's a must. 

What is your favourite cagecity piece? 

That's a hard question, but it would have to be the black sheer dress shirt (don't know it's proper name) Sooo hot!

So Much Texture!

We all know Monday's are bullshit and anyone that says they aren't is lying. To add some excitement to the most mundane day of the week we have launched our new A/W13 products along with our brand spanking new look book.

CAGECITY HOLIDAY STYLE.

My holiday is upon me FINALLY. Having booked this like 6 months ago I can finally say I’m going. Actually I think this is my first relaxing beach holiday in 2/3 years so I am going to completely rinse this one, just hand me a cocktail and that will be me done! 

So as I prepare to become Cleopatra and laze about in the sun whilst I get my boyfriend to wait on me hand and foot I need a wicked wardrobe that will transform me into a holiday goddess. Where better to get my killer outfits than CAGECITY of course. 

So here are my top 3 holiday saviours: 

1.The gorgeous ‘Baby got back body' will be perfect for pairing with a pair of the Finder’s Keeper’s 'Turning Tables Shorts’ to create that effortless playsuit style for a relaxed evening listening to live music whilst cleaning out the bar their all-inclusive drinks but I better watch those back tan lines haha to work this baby. 

2.As I’ll be in the tropics I may as well dress like it too and this ‘Tropical Rush’ dress is perfect for dancing the night away. The mix of bold print and colours is just right for that summer vibe. 

3.Still channeling that flower vibe the 'Electric Field' shorts will be my day saviour to slip into for a quick bite of lunch and will look wicked paired with my white beaded bikini.

It's FRIDAY BABY! Yessirrr!! 

Oh it's been another busy week in the office but we must say it has been far quieter than the crazy ass weekend we had. Bloggers and models come back we miss you!

The Summer sale ended last night...we warned you lovelies.....although..... the shitty weather this morning and the obvious fact we love Fridays means we have decided to carry it on for the weekend! LOVING LONDON IN AUGUST!

How the hell is it August already? Well I’m not complaining look at that beautiful sunshine August has greeted us with, that shit will put a smile on anybody’s face! 

Even though August means one month until University/ school begins again *sigh* let’s not let that put a downer on things because August is gonna be one red hot month and here are the reasons why I am loving the end of the summer in CAGECITY’S hometown of LONDON! 

1.Bank Holiday which basically means an extra day to get drunk in the sun! Thank you, yes thank you to whoever decided to give us this day off we love you we do! 

2.Notting Hill Carnival- a chance for me to shake my booty in the streets without people thinking I’m weird and I can do this whilst in my Caribbean get-up even better! 

3.Hackney WicKED is back with a bang this year! Yes you heard right! It's back in August showcasing work from local and international artists! There’s gonna be so much talent you won’t even be able to shake a stick! 

4.SW Four festival- yes it may be the same time as Notting Hill Carnival but I’ll split myself in half and after being a complete idiot and missing Knife Party at Benicassim I have a second chance! 

5.Oh and the last reason why I am gonna be loving August is the fact that all these open air cinemas are popping up left right and centre. So instead of sipping on overpriced Diet Coke in the cinema I can laze under the stares sipping on a cool iced cider! Perfection! 

Ok I’ve just realised that August is just gonna be one big party and that’s the way I like it! Now if any of you will be attending these events with me one thing that has to be done is to rock a bit of CAGECITY and I’ve got my eye on a sweet summer Mink Pink dress that will be perfect to rock out in!

Blogger life at CAGECITY.

The CAGECITY office didn't know what had hit it this weekend, with the arrival of the A/W samples and more bloggers than a sample sale; we were in a haze of girls and newness and we loved every second. 

With a Rum Punch to go with the 90's classics that Kisstory kindly supplied us with all weekend we were well and truly loving life. It was great to finally meet all the girls that have filled our internet history for so long and they didn't disappoint. So much style, we wanted to keep in the office forever.

Oh Friday we have missed you! Everything has been so crazy this week running here there and everywhere just for you guys to bring you all our crazy new shiz. 

Our week even started early as last Sunday we became like eager beavers in all the excitement and searched the internet spotting so many beautiful bloggers donning CAGECITY garments. We loved seeing how they styled their pieces adding so much personal style. Those girls worked it and we loved seeing the photos. Check out the post hereto see their serious CAGECITY style.

Who’s a train goer like us? Doesn’t the thought of getting on a crammed, hot, sweat ridden carriage just destroy your soul and makes the thought of going home just unbearable. But the times when you’re suffocating in someone’s body odor and you just feel like death is the only option are the times when God shines a light down in the form of a gorgeous boy. Yes you may still be stuck in that person’s armpit but at least you’ve got some eye-candy. Cue broodiness! Now the whole world has been baby mad this week what with the arrival of Prince George Alexander Louis Cambridge. With a Mum and Dad like that when that boy gets older you better prepare yourself girls because that boy is gonna be beautiful with those wicked genes. To celebrate the birth of the future king we went on Royal and hooked you guys up with everything Cagecity Royal Blue. So get all patriarchal and grab it all here! 

So guys I arrived back in the office this week with a serious case of Benicassim Blues! Seriously TAKE ME BACK and I will keep on moaning until someone does! My time consisted of cheap alcohol, sleep deprivation, food deprivation, extreme heat and some serious fan girl moments. I can honestly say that it was the best week of my life without a doubt even though I lived in absolute squalor and shit but that didn’t even matter when I was raving the nights away! I’m getting emotional talking about this because I miss it that much. Read about my time here and excuse the photos I know I look like an absolute idiot haha! 

That’s a week wrap guys now all that is left to do is go and drunk. Have a wicked weekend!

Benicassim Festival

Cue coughing fit! That’s it I’m home from Benicassim an absolute broken women. Broken in health especially with this annoying cough but mostly broken with Benicassim Blues! TAKE ME BACK! I know that’s a very cliché thing to say when arriving home from holiday but I can honestly say Benicassim Festival was the best week of my life. A week full of cheap alcohol, hardcore nights and foodless days all resulted in the best memories but worst health haha but who cares I’ll sleep when I’m dead! 

Having arrived at the camp at 1 in the morning, we managed to grab a drunk boy who put up our tent for us whilst we drank his Vodka. ABSOLUTE RESULT! Despite having travelled the whole day we hit the camp bar and the 1 litre beer whilst we mingled with the other campers before crawling in to the hard rock floor of our tent at six in the morning. Thank god we decided to invest in a lilo for the other nights because I tell you now rocks are not comfortable! 

So sleepless nights and camping in 38 degree heat with no shade aside let me get down to the music business. Mosh pits galore, me and my friends danced the nights away to Dizzee Rascal, Rudimental, Artic Monkeys, Bastille, The Killers and many more. When dancing to Zane Lowe I can officially say I found dance moves I never knew I had before! I belted my heart out and raved the nights away and you can definitely tell by the sound of my voice. Marge Simpson ain’t got nothing on me. The atmosphere was unbelievably wicked and everyone was just so chilled and friendly and made the whole time unforgettable. Nonetheless with the bigger acts peaking around midnight you were absolutely smashed before entering the arena especially when you’ve been downing three euro vodka or should I say three euro nail varnish. I became so smashed some nights I ran around the tents like Gollum and even fell on someone’s tent! OH ELIZABETH! 

So in regards to camping yes you lived in your own shit and yes you stunk of piss and even with the million showers I had a day there was no way of removing that clay crap off my body but who cares when you’re sunning yourself in that sun and lazing around by the beach preparing yourself for some class acts in the evening. When I mention lazing about the beach I mean trying to find any possible shade around which usually meant lying on the pavement under a tree. I wouldn’t do this at home, you know just whip out a towel on the street and snuggling up for a snooze but anything went in Benicassim. One day I even took a roll mat in to the shower block and slept there with the water on- think this was the best idea I had all week. With all this no shade malarkey I can honestly say it wasn’t festival fashion envy I was getting even though there was some serious style and flowers it was tent envy. Seriously those jammy buggers with their massive gazebo’s and ten man tents! WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE! SERIOUSLY I WAS DYING THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST SHARED! 

So overall Benicassim was just the most amazing week EVER and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for the funniest week of your lives with alcohol and best friends, I still can’t stop laughing from all the antics. You can even dress like an absolute dick and prance around like one with no one caring for instance I thought I looked so bloody cool wearing a flower garland in my hair and around my neck! 

On a final note here are my Benicassim Survival Tips: 

1.Drink the camp orange juice every morning when you’re dying it’s a saviour 

2.Buy yourself a massive tent with lots of shade 

3.Dance outside of the Red Bull tent because you will die from overheating inside 

4.Don’t attempt to walk to the beach 

5.Buy a tent just for your cases because trying to get ready in a tent full of lilo’s, dirt and bags is not fun and you just end up smelling 24/7

Baby Cambridge has sent the world baby mad this week along with every single social media feed I own. The fact that even I (hater of children), spent the best part of an hour staring at two wooden doors yesterday just proves that EVERYONE was hooked. All we need now is a name, I'm begining to wonder if it is going to be Tyler and the wait is purely due to the fact that the press are trying to track down Katie Hopkins face for the announcement.

Perfect Guys Only Exist on the Tube!!

Travelling on London tubes at rush hour has got to be in my top ten soul destroying daily routines. Having strangers all up your personal space is not the most enjoyable way of travelling. However, there is the occasional time when some beautiful guy, with a smile that could cure cancer gets on your carriage and suddenly the fact that someone is suffocating you with their armpit doesn't seem so bad.

Therefore CAGECITY ladies and gents, I would like to introduce to you to 'Tube Crush'. Thats right a whole website dedicated to the male beauties of the underground a 'Homage to the Hommes'. I can only thank the wonderful inventor of this for occupying my mind with another 'game' to get me from A to B on a daily basis.
