For someone who is so shy and riddled with angst, Kyra La Grange certainly knows how to make an entrance onto the music scene (she sang over Kate Moss at the British Fashion Awards ? awkward?) But this hasn?t put off the fashion world, she has attracted the interest of US Vogue and Armani, performing at his private party.
Watford born La Grange describes herself as a reclusive, so it seems a strange choice of career for someone so timid.
"I don't know if I'm the most suitable candidate to be a pop star ? I'm very neurotic and pessimistic. It took an especially long time for me to feel comfortable performing, but I just love being able to put intense emotion into a song and then sing it," she says.
Drawing comparisons to Florence and the Machine and Kate Bush, for her ethereal style and evocative lyrics, La Grange?s haunting debut album Ashes charts the roller coaster of her emotions.
If you haven't heard of her yet, check her out, she's definitely one to watch!
