Punk: Chaos to Couture

So we all know the Met Ball is the Fashion night of all nights! This years theme was celebrating the opening of the Met Museum's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition. And of course an invite to such a prestigious event had everybody dressed to impress.

While Many guests failed to embrace the punk theme, many put their own subtle spin on the meaning of punk. I mean it must be hard for celebrity's dressed head to toe in Couture to embrace Punk seeing as after all it is the 'Anti Fashion'

Here are some the looks that stood out to us!

Sienna Miller looked stunning in Burberry, she toughened up her white floor length dress with a studded biker jacket and head band! <3

Let's face it Beyonce would look good in a bin bag...The woman is FLAWLESS! And the certainly impressed in Givenchy Couture. She got the look spot on with matching over the knee boots and gloves!

Rosie Huttington-Whitely wore a daring netted Gucci dress embroidered with feathers and sequins.

Alexa Chung goes for a goth chic look in an Erdem sheer paneled dress with a roched neckline and sleeve cuffs.

Cara Delivigne looking stunning as ever in head to toe Burberry. She wore a studded plunging neckline dress matched with Dominic Jones spiked jewellery.

Sarah Jessica Parker got everyone talking! She bared a hint of her knickers in a daring Giles Deacon printed dress. Her Phillip Tracey feathered headpiece and tartan over the knee boots added to her punk look!

Katy Perry's look has divided the office, half of us think the accessories are a little try hard while I quite like the, staying true to my motto 'More is More!' She went for a religious themed Dolce & Gabbana beaded midi dress teamed with cross earrings, vampish lipstick and a statement crown!

Well this may be for all the wrong reasons they'res no denying Madonna did certainly leave an impression... At first I was shocked as to why is Hilary Devey was wearing hot pants but at second glace I realised this is nothing other than Madonna in a wig! I can't help but feel this combination of Tartan, studs and stockings just feels a little cliche.

Nicole Richie certainly made an impression with her usual golden locks sprayed a bright white! She wore an embroidered custom made Topshop dress styled with dark lipstick, tons of earrings and a gold box clutch!

Anne Hathaway was another one to shock with a brand new hair do! She died her famous crop bleach blonde and opted for a Valentino dress with daring sheer panels!

Miley Cyrus opted for a Marc Jacobs fishnet style dress, the completed the look with spiked hair and safety pin earrings!

Who was your favourite? Let us know :)
