Stealing from you brothers wardrobe...

Being one of 2 siblings, the other day something got me thinking, I have one brother, I've been taking him vintage shopping with me for a few years now and I actually think he may have a better wardrobe than me!

The other day he came home with a new North Face jacket and some Adidas trainers that my mum had bought him. This got me thinking, if I were to ask my mum for a new pair of shoes and a jacket she would probably tell me I didn't need anymore clothes blah blah blah. But why is it OK for a boy to ask for new clothes? I put this down to the fact that for boys clothes are seen as a necessity not a luxury, however I've noticed a rise in trendy guys with wardrobes to rival us girls.

I always used to wish I had a sister to borrow clothes from but recently i'ts not uncommon for me and my brother to swap clothes, I wear his denim jacket in exchange for him borrowing my Barbour, I borrow his shirts, he borrows my jumpers! We have quite a good agreement but when did boys become so fashion obsessed? It seems now that clothes are not merely a necessity for guys, they are dressing themselves with a lot of thought, gone are the days of shoving on a T-shirt and jeans without the slightest care.

Let us know what you think via our social channels! Do you have a trendy brother? Would you steal from his wardrobe?
